Test Engineer
The Test Engineer requires a strong analytical and technical skill set to support engine testing,
diagnostics, and data reporting. The role involves working independently and collaboratively to operate
dynamometers, troubleshoot systems, and perform repairs. Proficiency in engine/battery maintenance,
electrical wiring, calibration of test equipment, and use of mechanical and electronic measurement
devices are essential. The position values experience with ICE (internal combustion engine) operations, a
working knowledge of specialized software, and hands-on expertise with tools and fabrication
techniques. An Associate degree is preferred, with three to five years of relevant experience required.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; teamwork and independent work capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of ICE operation, testing, and repair processes.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting dynamometer test cells.
• Skilled in electronic troubleshooting tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering equipment,
etc.).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical
documentation.
• Expertise in mechanical measurement devices for temperature, pressure, and flow.
• Skilled in wiring electrical systems, including instrumentation power supplies, sensors, and
motors.
• Proficiency with machine tools, welding, fabrication, and hand tools for engine maintenance.
• Competence with software tools such as Word, Excel, Test Cell Control Software, and
combustion measurement programs.
• Educational background with an Associate degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree beneficial, and
3–5 years of relevant experience.
